About The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Manager to become part of our Marketing department.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this newly established role will play a key part in developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that drives online visibility and engagement for the company to increase sales and brand awareness.

As Content Manager, you will be responsible for producing and managing content production for the business including SEO and public relations content.

Your day-to-day focus will be both on-site content optimisation and off-site coverage to drive authority back to our domains whilst simultaneously increasing brand awareness, trust, and reputation.

You will work closely with various stakeholders within the business including the SEO team and Underwriting Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing high quality content for our brands
  • Strategising, executing and reporting on our SEO content strategy
  • Produce on and offline content collateral
  • Create and manage the annual content calendar, ensuring it is up to date, accurate and continually reviewed
  • Drive our thought leadership agenda across all channels and media

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Proven work experience in Content Management
  • Excellent writing experience, ideally within the insurance or financial sector
  • Strong experience of writing creative, data driven SEO content
  • Rigorous attention to detail & expert communicator
  • Ability to prioritise multiple requests with competing deadlines

Specific Job Skills:

  • 3-5 years of content writing experience (agency or in-house), ideally in the insurance or financial sector
  • A strong understanding of SEO, in particular keyword research and content creation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of WordPress
